About Me
The Story Continues
After I got my driver's license, I started fishing every other day. The money I saved was often used to pick up extra fishing gear. Soon enough, I had a hoard of fishing lures and high-end rods. After two years of staying close to home, I expanded my horizons. Every weekend was spent learning something new—a new way to fish, how to catch a new species or the lay of a new body of water.
On March 12, 2018, I started my YouTube channel—The Fisher Brad. My channel currently has over 190 tutorials devoted to wildlife biology, fishing, and hunting. Since graduating high school, my angling passions have taken me from South East Michigan to the Upper Peninsula, Alaska, British Columbia, Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Texas. I’ve tangoed with the biggest fish in North America including Alligator Gar in Texas, giant King Salmon in Alaska, the spoonbill in Oklahoma, white sturgeon in British Columbia, to sharks in Florida.
From Passion to Livelihood
On June 10, 2019, I became an official Michigan Fishing Guide and started my business. Now that I’ve graduated with my Bs in Wildlife Biology, I’ve turned my attention to getting my captain’s license. Once obtained, I’ll be offering chartered boat trips on the St.Cair River, Detroit River, Lake St. Clair, and Lake Huron.
My prized catches
To this day, fishing is one of my favorite things to do. There's nothing more thrilling to me than the mystery of a fish on the line. The primal fight as I pull them into shore. I've travelled across North America in search of our continent's biggest and most awe-inspiring river monsters. Below are some catches I'm particularly proud of!
